01 — How it works

Like a stock exchange, for creative work

Public markets work because they connect primary issuers and secondary sellers with buyers in one trusted, neutral place, under rules that are the same for everyone. On NASDAQ, new and existing shares change hands in real time while cash settles the other way. Creative work has no equivalent yet, so we’re building one.

Public markets: issuers and sellers trade shares through NASDAQ with retail and institutional investors, and capital flows back. The Sweeng exchange: original creators and catalog owners license work through Sweeng to independent builders and AI labs, and payments flow back.

With Sweeng, creators and catalog owners alike can license directly to players in the AI ecosystem, and payment flows straight back to whoever owns the work.
